On Friday, October 18th, I attended a reception at the Irish Embassy in honor of Minister Halligan’s visit to China. During the course of the evening, I learned about the various initiatives that the Irish government is undertaking to promote science, technology, and innovation in the country. I was impressed by the Minister’s vision and his commitment to making Ireland a leader in these fields and enhancing its relationship with China.
